Installing Sitecore 10 using Sitecore Installation Assistant (SIA), a graphical user interface.
Follow the steps below:

System Requirement for Sitecore 10.1 : Click Here
Note: The only manual step needed is to install is SQL Server 2017 or 2019

Step 1: Install SQL Server 2017 or 2019 and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Step 2: Download Sitecore 10 Graphical setup package for XP Single.

Step 3: Extract the content of the zip and initiate the setup.

Step 4: On the Welcome screen, click Start to begin the setup.

Step 5: Install the pre-requisites. This should install SIF and Windows Server prerequisites including IIS and other modules.

Step 6: Once prerequisites are installed successfully, you may have to restart the machine and Start the setup again by clicking setup.exe file.
Click on Skip button as we have already installed prequisites in 5th step (3rd on UI).
Next step is to Install Solr search service. Sitecore 10 or 10.1 needs Solr 8.4 version.
You do not need to install Solr separately as SIA will install iteself.

You only have to enter Windows service and path prefix value. You can change the Solr installation directory according to your need. Click Install button. Solr installation will take around 2 to 5 minutes.

Step 7: After SOLR is installed enter the Sitecore settings i.e. solution prefix, admin password, and provide a valid license file.

You can add any prefix according to your choice. It is up to you. Based on this prefix websites and databases will be created as shown in the screenshot below the 2nd image:

Based on the above prefix following prefixes will be added to the Sitecore-related websites and databases (sc101_*).
Basically, Sitecore creates three websites (sc101_*)  as showing in IIS

Website in IIS and Databases after adding prefix sc101

Step 8: Provide the SQL server settings i.e. SQL server name, admin username, and password.

Step 9:  Next screen is for SOLR settings. You don't need to fill this as SIA will fill automatically.
You have to fill this manually if you have installed SOLR saperately.

Step 10: Select optional Sitecore modules by clicking checkbox "Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA). Clikc on Next  >> Next as UI is only for Summary and Validation.

After successful intallation you well see the screen below. You launch default website by clicking the button "Launch Sitecore"
